Picnic set out to reframe what allergy suffering and relief feels like—not just what it does. In a category dominated by clinical, functional messaging, the opportunity was to create something more emotional, expressive, and visually memorable.

We collaborated with artist Brooke DiDonato to develop a surreal visual world that explored the tension between discomfort and relief. The work leaned into contrast—capturing the heaviness of allergy symptoms against moments of clarity, lightness, and ease. Rather than explaining the product directly, the imagery was designed to communicate sensation through mood and feeling.

The result was a distinctive content system that elevated Picnic beyond traditional healthcare communication, positioning the brand through feeling rather than instruction.

Impact
Established a more emotionally expressive visual language for allergy relief by transforming a functional product category into a surreal, art-directed content world.
